Sales Intern

LEM Products, Inc. seeks a recent college graduate with a sales/marketing degree and a passion to succeed. The successful applicant will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with personal organization and a natural ability to sell.

LEM will provide all necessary product training and the opportunity to succeed. The internship is an inside sales position that may afford the opportunity to become a factory-direct field sales representative for East Coast accounts.

Our company is a manufacturer of industrial and electrical identification products used to mark sites and facilities for safety and OSHA compliance. We are located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, but our client base is international.

Position Overview:

• To support company sales and marketing activities by generating leads and opportunities for new business

• Generate new business through telemarketing efforts and relationship building
• Participate in sales efforts, including marketing activities (electronic email and hard copy campaigns), in-house sales meetings, and efforts to assist in all aspects of lead generation
• Follow up on scheduled prospect calls and work with salespeople to schedule meetings and nurture developing sales opportunities
• Accurately and efficiently process customer lists, (i.e. updating contact information, SIC codes, existing business status, and future opportunities)
• Promote LEM Products and its offerings within target markets
• Establish and maintain new relationships with prospective clients while promoting our solutions.

• Strong and engaging interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment
• Demonstrated history of achieving call volume quotas and engagement success
• Ability to articulate a clear message and drive opportunities for our salespeople
• Experience using Outlook email, Internet browsers, and basic word processing and spreadsheet programs (e.g. Microsoft Office)
